This notice explains how Rock IP, PLLC ("Rock IP," "we") handles information you give us through the Rock IP Core Sample™ at coresample.rock-ip.com.

What we collect

Contact and company details you enter: name, email, mobile phone, company, website, industry, role, company stage, size, and plans to raise money, sell, or bring in a partner.
Your answers to the questionnaire and any optional details you add.
Your choices about follow-up and newsletters, and the date you accepted the acknowledgment.
Basic usage events, such as when you open your link, finish a section, view results, or click to book a meeting, and the event or link that brought you here.

Please don't enter confidential information. The tool asks for categories and nicknames only.

How we use it

To score your answers, show your results, and email your report and private link.
To let Rock IP review your results and, if you agreed, contact you about them.
To send occasional IP insights, only if you opted in. You can opt out at any time.
To keep the tool secure and working, and to improve it.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Who processes it for us

We use these service providers to run the tool: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), Resend (email delivery), Slack (internal alerts to Rock IP staff, limited to name, company, industry, source, and grades), and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection). They process information on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep completed assessments until you ask us to delete them or for up to 3 years after your last activity. We delete unfinished assessments when you ask us to.

Not a confidential communication

Using the Core Sample™ doesn't create an attorney-client relationship, and what you enter isn't a confidential communication with a lawyer.
